Rather than go through all the effort of making another music video, we decided to let Alie perform live at the awards luncheon. It seems that she survived:

Robert Seale presents in the Hinckley Center - Photo by Jon Hardy/BYU Photo
We spent the day on Thursday with Robert Seale. Robert is an incredible teacher and he shared a lot of valuable insight as he walked us step by step through some of his favorite shoots. After the morning session, we packed up and drove south to Red Canyon, which is just a few miles outside of Bryce Canyon. There on the side of the highway we did a live shoot with a BYU dancer who was kind enough to travel to Bryce to pose for us. Check out the video below:

It was quite a sight to see 70 photographers follow Robert as he trekked through the canyon finding new photos. We also demonstrated the Eye-Fi Pro X2 Card in action, sending the photos that Robert took to an iPad for instant preview. It was great to be able to show the group all the photos that Robert took a few seconds after the fact.
We were lucky enough to have Andrew Fingerman of Photoshelter join us on Tuesday afternoon and speak about social media. Andrew wrote a PDF called Social Media for Photographers that is a great resource to get you started on your social media plan, click here to download it. After lunch we went to see Art Wolfe present "Between Heaven and Earth". It was an amazing presentation that inspired us to be better photographers. Many of us got to meet Art and chat with him for a bit, and He was great. Lets just say that many books were bought and autographed.
