Nikon sponsored the shootout at "This is the Place" state park during the 2011 Symposium. This year there were two competitions, the point and shoot competition shot with Nikon s8100's and the SLR competition. Mark Kettenhofen, our excellent Nikon representative, gave us the theme of "Cooperation". Check out the entries and winners:
For winning the Point and Shoot competition, Michelle Kelly of Boise State University won a Nikon s8100. Robert Jordan of the University of Mississippi won a Nikon 5100 SLR camera for taking the SLR competition. Thanks to Nikon and Mark Kettenhofen for sponsoring the competition!
