The SLU Golf and Give Innovation challenge is an annual Saint Louis University event where student teams build, and community members play, a mini-golf course constructed from non-perishable food items. Student organizations design and build creative, mini-golf holes using shelf-stable items, which are then donated after the event. The purpose is to raise awareness and stock the Billiken Bounty food pantry for SLU students.
Proving that the Pride of the North marching band is just as comfortable on skates as they are on the field, this viral clip of our sousaphone player gliding around the band took our Instagram by storm. The impressive feat garnered over 500,000 views, highlighting the unique intersection of marching band precision and hockey tradition. We posted the full performance with multiple camera angles a few days later on social media.

Appleton Arena, which has a seating capacity of 3,200, serves as the home for both the St. Lawrence men's and women's hockey teams. Opened in 1951, it is the fourth-oldest hockey rink in the United States. The arena has undergone several renovations over the years but has maintained its original wooden bleachers and unique atmosphere.
