Springfield College’s Giving Day 2026 video campaign targeted alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and community supporters with one bold goal: raise $1 million in 24 hours to support the College’s Humanics mission. To build awareness and momentum ahead of March 4, we produced a five-week social video series titled “One in a Million,” released weekly across social media and donor emails. Each video used storytelling, humor, and authentic campus voices to highlight student experiences, community pride, and the impact of philanthropy, reinforcing that every gift matters.
Mya Hansen is a leader on and off the court. Point guard for the women’s basketball team, Hansen studies kinesiology, specifically rehabilitation science, with a 4.0 GPA. Hansen wants to help others in her career while applying her fascination with how the human body moves.
Nora Hayd first made waves in late 2024 when she went viral as Boise State’s “goth volleyball player.” She sat for interviews with The New York Times and The Today Show. Over a year later, that fame still shapes her experience at Boise State, where people recognize her on campus and around town.
