The spotlight was on UB’s cultural diversity Saturday night as international students took to the Mainstage in the Center for the Arts for the annual International Fiesta. Nearly a dozen dance groups took part in the Student Association-sponsored event, presenting their different stories around the theme of “harmony.”

A Closer Look at Architecture and Design Across Campus
Nebraska Engineering students finished off the spring semester's first week of classes with a paper airplane toss in the atrium of the new Kiewit Hall. Approximately 50 students, faculty and staff took part, aiming for a first-floor bullseye from the second and third stories. Opening Jan. 22, the six-story, privately funded, $115 million Kiewit Hall is the university’s academic hub for engineering education.
For dozens of students, the journey to UNC-Chapel Hill begins abroad with the Carolina Global Launch program. Their first semester of college will take place at the University of Stirling in Stirling, Scotland, before they set foot on the Chapel Hill, North Carolina, campus in the spring. Many of these Tar Heels brought prized possessions with them to Scotland, from journals containing family photos to a miniature stuffed pumpkin, to ease the transition.
