In engineer Mark Rober’s latest viral video, he pursues an epic journey to make the world’s tiniest Nerf nano-blaster. That journey to a world record leads the YouTube star straight to his alma mater: Brigham Young University. Creating such a working device on a nanoscale was a gargantuan task for BYU engineers, who pushed the limits of compliant mechanisms technology to make it happen.

This video gives an inside look at the experience of BYU students and professors who got to collaborate with Mark and make history in the process.

BYU students had a rare opportunity to experience the Nativity in a personal way, and to contemplate the Savior's birth, as part of a "Your Mark on the Masterpiece" art collaboration with the BYU Office of Belonging and renowned Argentine artist Jorge Cocco.

We decided to film with 1.8x anamorphic lenses with a final aspect ratio of 2.39:1 to give the story and art a cinematic presentation.  This project was a great exercise in collaboration as we got to work with artist Jorge Cocco, BYUtv, and the Office of Belonging.
