Portraits
Posed portraits of individuals or groups, in the studio, on your campus, or elsewhere in a university or college-related situation. The subject must be aware that they are being photographed. Other more candid “portraits” belong in the NEWS & COLLEGE LIFE category. Basic retouching/editing is permitted.

My office was contracted to cover career day for the campus career center. I was to set up and take portraits of anyone who wanted one. I loved this as I was able to use a new lighting set up based off Peter Hurley, it worked famously I think.
Every year we have an event called STEMfest, we bring in over 600 children from our partners schools to come and learn from our students and volunteers. Here we have an elderly gentleman showing this group if kids the art of rock polishing. They could pick a rock and drop it off to to him and ten minutes later they could come and pick it back up. This little girl was watching her stone get finished.
