This is our second year in creating portraits of students that are involved in the fall football season here at the University of Georgia. These photos run on a website along with short student profiles to promote the university as part of our fall season campaign.
Riders who gave up a month of the summer to ride across the country make a pitstop at their alma mater. The ride runs from New York City to San Francisco. Riders collected survivors stories as well as raising funds in the fight against cancer.
Nine local athletes are headed to compete in Paris at the Paralympics. The training regimen is intense, but the camaraderie is strong with younger wheelchair track athletes learning from the experienced champions.

First-year and new transfer students and their families are making their way to the University of Miami this week for ’Cane Kickoff 2024, the University’s new student orientation.
The week features more than 185 events and informative on-campus sessions designed to help students develop a sense of belonging, learn about the various resources available, and begin their University journey. Optional excursions over the weekend will also help students explore Miami and begin to feel at home.

Skippers with disabilities from Shake-A-Leg Miami teach physical therapy students about sailing – and life.
Since its launch in 1990, the Integrated Sports and Leisure course, an elective in the Department of Physical Therapy, has given nearly 1,000 students insight into the world of adaptive sports, communicating with people with disabilities and transitioning skills from the classroom to the real world.
This Fourth of July marks the 248th anniversary of the ratification of the Declaration of Independence. We are excited to share some of our favorite photos of American flags on GVSU's campus as we celebrate our country's independence.
UB greeted new and returning students last weekend with a lineup of fun and informative activities designed to usher in the start of the fall semester. University Communications photographers Meredith Forrest Kulwicki and Douglas Levere were there to catch all the action, which was capped off by the Bulls Welcome Back Blast, where everyone brought their True Blue pride.
