How would you judge a crystal? Or better yet, how would you grow one?
Would you attend to every detail to get a perfectly clear and well-shaped example? Or would you let your imagination run wild, and create a “coolest” crystal?
That was the challenge presented to the K-12 students and teachers across the country who took part in the 2022 U.S. Crystal Growing Competition last October.
Discovering the link between art and nature made a significant impact on Taylor Robers as a young artist.
