This year we opened our newest dining center Perry Place at Hitt Hall. To give our students an inside peak before they come back we made a Mtv Cribs style video tour. 

We recently produced a new commercial at Western Carolina University. A consistent use of natural sound throughout, paired with visuals from campus life and the surrounding area, and punctuated with fun, colorful motion graphics made this ad into a unique and punchy 30 second video. 

Our newest university commercial makes use of natural sound and vibrant video from all aspects of the campus and the surrounding area. The natural beauty of the campus is presented alongside lively student life. The addition of motion graphics added textural layers and helped convey energy. Students have the opportunity to create their own four-year journey out of a vast tapestry of activities at Western and this commercial aimed to capture that. 

Dr. Brian Byrd and his students travel to Yosemite National Park to help a WCU alum, Dr. George Carroll, conduct mosquito surveillance in the park. Their goal is to determine what species of mosquitos are present with a warming climate.

Mechanical Engineering Major, Ariel, tells his moving and inspirational story about growing up in Puerto Rico and eventually landing at Western Carolina University. Ariel is the recipient of the Brinson Honor's College Outstanding Honors Senior Award.
