UND's team in the Air Race Classic hopes to inspire the next generation of female pilots. The Race is one-of-a-kind competition that celebrates the history of women in aviation with a competition of female piloted teams over a 2,500 mile journey.  This year the Air Race Classic started at the University of North Dakota, as teams departed from Grand Forks International Airport (KGFK) with events prior to takeoff on June 20th.

Narrated by UT alumna and former Lady Vol basketball player Andraya Carter, now an analyst and reporter with the SEC Network and ESPN, the video highlights UT’s banner year with record student enrollment, faculty achievements, research growth, expanding partnerships, and unforgettable victories.

A group of 10 incoming first-year University of Miami students recently went on a four-day backpacking trip in the Great Smoky Mountains, led by two student facilitators. The expedition was part of the University's Outdoor Adventures program, which introduces students to open-air activities throughout the year. The students used skills to adapt to their environment, just as they would in college. During the trip, the participants experienced tough hikes, camped out, crossed rivers, and relied only on the food they carried in their backpacks.

"It Takes a Volunteer" is one of the University of Tennessee's fall advertising campaigns that highlights student-athletes who excel in their sport and in the classroom. Morghan Fingall, a graduate student studying public health, is living out the Volunteer spirit by bringing her passion for public health to a local elementary school. This project is a large collaborative between UT's Office of Communications and Marketing video producers, photographer, art directors, writers and our counterparts in the athletics department.
