This month, we are proud to begin focusing on Nigel Harris, Director of Recreation Programs and Facilities. Nigel enjoys being part of our community and appreciates the opportunities he has had to make a positive impact on students’ lives. He recounts rewarding projects such as revitalizing the Marietta Recreation Center and introducing an aquatics instruction program.

Kennesaw State University’s Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics (MSDSA) program is a program designed to prepare a diverse student body to utilize cutting edge data science and analytics techniques. In an effort to recruit more students to this 2-year master’s program, this promotional piece was made. 

For nearly two decades, Irelis Milhet has held various roles at the University of Miami. This is a short documentary following Olivia Ramos as she prepares for a bright future in Production Stage Management. The entirety of the video was shot in under 4 hours and we couldn't have done it without such a receptive team in the middle of preparing for the debut of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde.

This project was the first request in my que when I started my position here last October. I met with the department and drew up a concept, but there was a small problem, we were in the middle of creating our new visual identity and the older footage wasn't lining up with the request. We decided to put it off until we could incorporate a semester of footage we captured in the new style. Because of this, I think this may have been one of the quickest commercial style edits I have ever worked on. I believe turn-around was 3 days with approvals.
