Dennis is a character -- incredibly particular, but also magnanimously generous. He's got it in his mind that he won't be around much longer, so he wanted me to make a portrait of him in his suit (ya know, for the funeral -- which isn't pending). I agreed -- as long as he'd also let me make a photo of him in the shop where he spends so much time making things for others. I drove across the state and made a few photos, including this one that shows who he really is.
