Personal Vision

When the campus shut down in March, I began taking long daily walks, many at dawn. With fewer cars on the road, the whole area around my neighborhood has become quiet, with more wildlife visible during daylight hours. In mid-May, I spotted this little fox heading into the woods near my house, probably taking breakfast to hungry pups in his/her den.  

I think this one was checking me out as much as I was checking her out. Making sure I wasn't as much of a threat as the other hummingbirds coming into the feeder.

Summit Chief Mountain and Chimney Rock West are reflected in a glass smooth alpine lake.
