One of our many friendly campus squirrels preparing for the coming Winter by fattening up on the seeds found on our Quad.  Illinois State University's campus is an arboretum that contains at least one of every species of tree native to Illinois, so the squirrels have their pick of the bunch; though they usually prefer the peanuts students occasionally hand to them!

Students cast shadows over red sand as part of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons (MMIP)'s Red Sand Project at the Cook Carillon Tower during Indigenous Peoples' Day on October 14. The project encouraged the community to pour red sand into sidewalk cracks to raise awareness for missing and murdered Indigenous women who fall through the cracks of society.
