Two students walk past the best fall tree on campus. 

The African Caribbean Association holds a braiding workshop at the Black Cultural Center called "HAIR US OUT!" Led by peer students, the workshop covers not only how to braid but even the origins of certain hairstyles.

Instructed by the Italian Studies Department, Maya Greensphan leads a group of students in a yoga session spoken entirely in Italian.

Members of the U of I System administration meet with Illinois legislators in the Jewish Caucus at the Chicago Botanical Gardens to advocate for higher education. The stop was part of a statewide tour and effort to increase state funding for higher education and highlight private/public collaborations between all the state universities with the communities they serve. 

About 400 community members and donors attended the November 3 event to celebrate and tour DCIH, which opened in May on Grand Valley’s Health Campus on Medical Mile in downtown Grand Rapids.
