Alicia Young, a freshman interdisciplinary studies major from Gulfport, raises her sword as Tillius, or Tilly the Paladin, in Theatre MSU’s fantastical production of “She Kills Monsters.” Created by Qui Nguyen, this Dungeons and Dragons game-inspired show invites audiences on an action-packed and heartfelt journey through grief, identity and geek culture.

An education major, who was student teaching in a local elementary school this semester, brought his third grade class to campus for a field trip and scavenger hunt. After finding various items like pine cones, birds, and insects, the kids drew their findings in their nature journals. 

As part of the Leadership Experience Action Project, Dr. Johnson's Business students partnered with Engineering students to design and build beds to race as part of a fundraiser for A Bed And A Book.

Jade, 4, dances in front of actors portraying the Disney Princesses and the university mascot at the Lakemont Manor Museum. The university museum was a perfect site for Jade's make a wish day organized and ran by university students which included story time, tea time and a princess dance party. Jade has been battling cancer for the past year.
