During the editing of this photo, generative fill was used to remove small items on the sidelines. Along with a small cleanup on the edges, generative fill, the stamp tool, and the healing brush were used to clean up the stadium seating. 

Biological Sciences professors Matt Ritter and two students traveled to the Stanislaus National Forest where they visited the tallest and oldest known Sierra juniper, the Bennett Juniper to get updated measurements of the special tree.

Alumnus and Navy Captain Victor Glover is preparing to make history. The NASA astronaut will pilot the Artemis II mission, which will take humans back to the moon for the first time in more than 50 years. Glover’s work is a critical step toward establishing a lunar base to facilitate more long-range space exploration.

Some elements of another frame were composited to sharpen the eye and cheek.

Students use an anechoic chamber to tune the mZ circuit board’s dipole antenna on a CubeSat. The chamber simulates a space-like environment with isolation from other materials and reflections.
