While this was a candid moment, I made extensive edits to the image, so it no longer adheres to accepted photojournalistic standards and cannot be submitted in the News or College Life categories. The Generative AI Remove tool was used extensively to repair scratches on the piano and music stand, as well as to remove dust and lint from Dr. Moore’s tuxedo. Selective masking was also used to darken the background and brighten Dr. Moore’s face in the shadows.

Many scratches, scuffs, tape marks, and even a music stand were removed in Photoshop.

I Photoshopped a kicker light out of the background, and removed a small LED light reflection that was peeking out from the Bible and from his glasses. A Smoke Ninja was used to add atmosphere.
