Dong Xu co-founded the International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Research, a quarterly publication that delves into the latest advancements and applications. Xu now serves as co-editor-in-chief of the journal. This photo was made using Adobe Firefly to create the mask/background effect with the headshot as a compositional reference. Photoshop was used to mask that AI-generated image and headshot into a composite.

Each year, six to eight alumni and friends are chosen to be honored as an OSU Agriculture champion or distinguished alumni. In 2024, instead of receiving a plaque and a medallion, recipients will receive a custom-made belt buckle. 

This photo was captured on a plexiglass shooting table. A haze machine and a small RGB light were used in the background, and then a snoot was used to light the buckle. Dodging and Burning was applied in the edit as well as tonal corrections.
