Posed portraits of individuals or groups, in the studio, on your campus, or elsewhere in a university or college-related situation. The subject must be aware that they are being photographed. Other more candid “portraits” belong in the NEWS & COLLEGE LIFE category. Basic retouching/editing is permitted.

Tintype artist Amanda Corbett spends a few minutes with her subjects in taking an old-fashioned tintype on an aluminum plate.  Using 150 year-old processes, Corbett specializes on impressing her subjects with the age-old pictures.

If a student goes really big or wild on an assignment and it totally crashes, that's not such a bad thing.
