Portraits
Posed portraits of individuals or groups, in the studio, on your campus, or elsewhere in a university or college-related situation. The subject must be aware that they are being photographed. Other more candid “portraits” belong in the NEWS & COLLEGE LIFE category. Basic retouching/editing is permitted.

Dr. Jagannathan Sarangapani (2nd from left) discusses leader-follower robot swarm research using different remote control vehicles. He and other researchers are using deep learning – a type of machine learning – to develop “leader-follower” robot swarms equipped with cameras that will allow them to visually perceive and learn, recognize threats, and analyze options to keep humans safe from harm.
Disruption is his business as Robert Brunner has built a business lab that is designed to push conventional thinking by embracing new technology applied in disruptive ways. Brunner, who is the Chief Disruption Officer at the Gies College of Business, states that the days of the status quo are over.
