Jon Yunker, who has been working with Skate MD and the NVCF CARE Program that gave him an opportunity to be featured on the can of Sierra Nevada’s new Rad Little Thing IPA, skateboards at the Humboldt Skate Park on Thursday, January 16, 2025. SkateMD is a non-profit organization that aims to heal hearts by spreading kindness and skateboarding to children with physical and developmental disabilities. The North Valley Community Foundation (NVCF) Community, Assessment, Response and Education (CARE) Team provides support when a young person is suicidal, has attempted suicide or has taken their life by suicide.
