With more than 100,000 living alumni and counting, representatives of TCU visit cities across the U.S. to connect with alumni, friends, prospective students and families, and industry and community partners.
I produced this video as a research spotlight for the University of Florida's Emerging Pathogens Institute. EPI member Aria Eshraghi, Ph.D., and his lab at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine study ways to target the growth of Francisella. Francisella is a genus of Gram-negative bacteria found in temperate climates that causes zoonotic infections in humans and can kill up to 60% of those infected.

I produced this video as a research spotlight for the University of Florida's Emerging Pathogens Institute. EPI member Joseph Larkin, Ph.D. was the focus of this piece. He investigates ways to combat recurrent uveitis, an autoimmune disease that is the leading cause of blindness in humans and horses. In his research, Larkin and his collaborators have found that the administration of a topical eyedrop can be used to treat equine recurrent uveitis.

The FitRec's Aquatics Center features a four-lane pool that includes a deep end, a whirlpool and two family changing rooms. The facility offers workout and safety classes, private and group swim lessons as well as birthday parties. Members also can use the center daily for lap and recreational swimming and physical therapy. Lifeguards always are on duty to help ensure a safe environment.
FitRec and Student Life collaborated to host the annual Big Pink Volleyball Tournament in October. Students, faculty and staff participated in the fun event and raised $3,209 for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Set against the backdrop of a snow-covered campus, this performance captures the magic of the season in a uniquely BYU way.
This video features the work of BYU robotic experts who designed humanoid robots with the ability to lift large, unwieldy objects, with the hope that someday, robots like these can assist in disaster cleanup and other helpful tasks.
