The Hector and Gloria López Foundation awarded a more than $2.1 million grant to St. Edward's University -- benefitting first-generation Latino students. Beginning in Fall 2023, 15 "López Scholars" will receive full tuition assistance, as well as other resources including mentorship, tutoring, study abroad programs, paid internships, leadership development and more. Actor Gabriel Luna paid a special visit to St. Edward’s University during this year’s Scholarship Audition Weekend, hosted by the Department of Performing Arts. Luna — a former theater student — met with hundreds of Hilltoppers and sat down with the Marketing and Communications division for an interview reflecting on his time at St. Edward’s and his role on HBO’s post-apocalyptic series, The Last of Us. This particular video edit was made specifically for social as a more fun and laidback piece in comparison to the longer full edit of his interview.

Hall Have Eyes is a Halloween event held in Owens Food Court. This event is a fun and silly event with candy and costumes. Employees get to dress up and students are encouraged too as well. 

The Lafayette Football team held a Spring Showcase that was open to the public for the first look at the 2023-24 team in action.

A fun Instagram reel was made to announce the arrival of the President's new puppy, Saylor.

Content is created for TikTok and Instagram as short segments in "Baxter's Burrow" - a compilation of mascot-related content created by the KCC videographer.

Happy Holidays from the Shaw House is a short video featuring our Interim President, Dr. Dianna Phillips and her staff. The design of the outro screen was adapted from a graphic package provided by our department for greeting cards and general "Happy Holidays" themed print and digital material.
