Appleton Arena, which has a seating capacity of 3,200, serves as the home for both the St. Lawrence men's and women's hockey teams. Opened in 1951, it is the fourth-oldest hockey rink in the United States. Frauke Hachtmann, UNL Professor and William H. Kearns Chair in Journalism, is one of 45 community co-curators for the exhibition “Go Big Red” at Sheldon Museum of Art. For the show, each co-curator or team of co-curators selected a work from the museum’s collection that features red, the school color chosen by University of Nebraska students in 1892. This video was created to visually connect Frauke's personal story with her selected artwork. It was produced for and used by Sheldon Museum of Art (University of Nebraska–Lincoln) on their social media pages as well as their website.
