In this Ball State University immersive learning course a criminal justice class worked with the University Police Department to create training scenarios for the officers that focused on university specific scenarios for use with the MILO Simulator.

In this Ball State University immersive learning project, an architecture class partnered with a local business and other community partners to design an art piece at a major intersection in town.

A few UIC students took a quick trip on a CTA train from campus to downtown Chicago for the annual Chriskindlmarket. Students viewed handmade crafts, holiday gifts, decorations, and food; listened to music, and enjoyed the German- and European themed market's traditional hot chocolate in a couple of signature mugs.

The Creative Writing Program at the University of Notre Dame offers graduate and undergraduate writers rigorous training in innovative literary technique as well as in traditional forms. We engage robustly with socially grounded critical thought, and give generous individual attention, balancing student-centered creative exploration with robust pedagogical support. The program’s internationally renowned faculty bring expertise in a range of genres and aesthetic approaches, as well as deep experience in publishing, criticism, and editing.

The minor in Sport, Media, and Culture (SMAC) invites students to examine the cultural politics of sport from a scholarly point of view, and to practice them with an eye towards social justice and the dignity of every human being. SMAC thus defines media broadly—to include visual art, historical texts, and performing arts as well as print journalism, radio, film, television, and social media—and incorporates analyses of race, gender, sexuality, class, and inequality from across the humanities and social sciences.
