The Digital Photo team had the opportunity to shoot family portraits for a neighboring school.

Gerardo, captain and president of the UIC Men's Rugby team, poses for studio portraits not 10 hours after graduating. His devotion to his studies and the team is the reason he was asked to show up to this studio session by his teammates and friends. He intends to attend graduate school at UIC and continue to help the rugby team as a member and coach.

Jeremiah Paprocki, UIC alumni and PA announcer for the Chicago Cubs, was asked to throw out the honorary first pitch for UIC night with the Cubs at Wrigley field. It was the first time he had been given this opportunity since starting his work with the cubs. In even more of a spectacular moment, Jeremiah did all of the pregame announcing from the field.

UIC CDS every year produces an article under the title Lens. This is an opportunity  for our staff to go out and be as creative as we possibly can Wirth the topic of the shoot. We always do a lens shoot that corresponds with Spring Graduation. 2023 was no exception with CDS photographing 7 graduates including one of our student workers.

April 18th, 2023, UIC SAB hosted its annual Cultural Fashion Show. UIC, being such a diverse university, was able to put together an amazing show that was able to represent the fashion of countries all over the world. Egypts model wowed the crowd with her countries unique clothing.
