This photo captures a vibrant moment from Mizzou's Homecoming game against South Carolina. It highlights a flag bearer from Marching Mizzou, known for their dynamic performances, waving a flag with great enthusiasm. In editing this image, I infused warmth to reflect the golden glow that seemed to fill the stadium, especially with the Tigers leading at halftime and being ranked the highest in school history at that point. This image is more than just a snapshot; it's a celebration of the spirit and excitement that defines our homecoming games. This is the game we decided we could be a top 10 team, and the energy was the affirmation we needed.

This photo was taken during the National Pan Hellenic Council's Step Show, an annual event during Homecoming in which all of Mizzou's NPHC orgs compete for a prize and bragging rights. This year, we were all surprised as the Eta Gamma chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. made a last-minute, grand entrance and hosted a New Member Presentation during the event. The crowd was electric as they took the stage and I feel that this picture helps capture the grand, yet mysterious feeling panning throughout the room as we all waited to see the member get unveiled, while also showcasing how proud these men are to be joining the org... all without showing their faces. The dramatic lighting, the ominous fog, the creative dress code, along with the proud posture of the members makes this one of my favorite moments captured so far.
