Student and Associate

An engineering team on campus created an electric race car from scratch and I had them take it apart and reassemble it in the studio for some car photography. This image was captured all in camera. With the camera on a tripod,  and zoomed in while taking a long exposure. The car is lit with blue gels and orange lights stuck to stands which creates a streak look as the camera zooms in during the exposure.

Sunlight tinted orange by smoke from the nearby Park Fire shines on Trinity Hall as it peeks out from behind the trees on the Chico State campus.

Taken 3 weeks after the Park Fire began ripping through Northern California, this picture shows the area in Bidwell Park in Chico where the fire was started and rapidly grew to over 400,000 acres. The brown/black areas on the left and distant banks are  all burned areas.

The moon peeks out from behind the Cathedral Bell Tower in the Town of Rab on the island of Rab, Croatia. The tower is one of 4 that dot the small historic town. In the foreground are the masts of sailboats sleeping in the harbor.
