Series of issues from the MIZZOU Magazine, the official alumni magazine sent to Mizzou alumni including a special edition for a college of the university (this rotates throughout issues and is not in every issue).

Our marketing team embraces a visuals-first approach, focusing on showing rather than telling. The magazine features high-quality photography that captures the essence of the research and achievements within the College. The design is artistic by engineering standards, intending to leave a lasting visual impression on busy engineers and other readers. By keeping text minimal, the visuals take center stage, which ensures each page communicates the message with clarity and impact.

In the Fall 2024 issue of Loyola magazine, we went from the John Felice Rome Center to the shores of Lake Michigan to show how the Loyola University Chicago community is a transformational force for good across the globe. Rooted in our Jesuit, Catholic values of social justice and service, the Fall 2024 issue of Loyola Magazine highlights the people, programs, partnerships, and initiatives that are changing lives and research throughout the world. This issue celebrates Loyola’s rich history, spotlights our place in a global community, and inspires Ramblers everywhere to think big as they go forth and set the world on fire.

In the Spring 2025 issue, we pulled back the curtain and took things apart to see how they function. Inspired by podcasts, books, and other “explainer” media including “How I Built This” and “The Way Things Work,” this issue explored the initial spark that led to a great idea. This magazine included stories on a alumni power couple who developed the world's first touch-sensing bionic hand; the USA gymnastics team doctor on how she built her career; and a Loyola alum’s grassroots journey to becoming the NBA’s senior insider. We ask professors and alumni to break down their expertise into simple terms and take readers into “the room where it happens” to show that the biggest and best ideas all started somewhere. 

George Fox University publishes the George Fox Journal yearly in the summer. It is distributed to alumni and parents of current students. 

It's purpose is: To inform. To engage. To inspire. 

George Fox Journal tells stories to help readers stay in love with George Fox University. 

This edition is our photo essay issue. We spent many days, multiple shoots, countless hours, and drove many miles to create the stories in this magazine. 

Arete is an twice-annual update for athletic alumni, parents of current student athletes, and donors to the college. Eight of the nine stories were photographed by me, with historical photos and some insets taken from our archive. One story was photographed by a freelancer in the DC area.

These are the covers to our June 2024, December 2024 and March 2025 issues of our glossy 20-page quarterly BruIN magazine. The magazine is mailed to approximately 5,000 targeted alumni and community stakeholders each quarter, in addition to being made available on campus and online. The goal is to update them on new and ongoing events, activities and initiatives at the college. Each issue is full of beautiful, engaging photography shot almost exclusively by our college photographer and UPAA member Simon A. Thalmann. (Even the December 2024 cover featuring the art is actually a photo of said art.)

The fall 2024 issue of Universitas, the Saint Louis University Alumni Magazine, features stories on Professor Sarah Adam who became the first woman on the US Paralympic wheelchair rugby team, the filming of a movie on campus, and club sports

This is the Spring/Summer 2024 issue of Cal Poly Magazine featuring a story on the Rose Float entry and the last 75 years of history surrounding the college's Rose float tradition. It also includes images and stories from the university's Architecture Design Village event, a student-curated history display, a student pilot, women's volleyball and more.
