With a campus overrun by ungulates they become more than a little comfortable with human presence. During the summer they are even more emboldened to roam campus. Who knew that deer squatted while answering the call of nature. It's the eye contact that's creepy, right?

Photographing this long weekend festival in June was an absolute blast! It was very hard to choose a favorite from the weekend's live performances. The energy that the Steel Samurai guitarist was sharing with the audience (and me) was just outstanding and a pleasure to capture in this image.
