Photographing this long weekend festival in June was an absolute blast! It was very hard to choose a favorite from the weekend's live performances. The energy that the Steel Samurai guitarist was sharing with the audience (and me) was just outstanding and a pleasure to capture in this image.

This three-toed sloth, photographed along the banks of the Sarapiqui River in Costa Rica, is a male. The parted fur and dark stripe on its back is called a speculum and is only seen on males once they reach sexual maturity.
