Walking in a local park on a overcast, wet day, I passed by an oak with incredible fall colors. Looking at the leaves reminded me of the sides of a snowflake. I picked six leaves of similar size and placed them on the hood of my car and shot.
The Magical Crystal Pool

This is a straight shot. I have my forearms resting on the edge of an above ground frozen swimming pool, shooting straight down, focusing on where the "waterline" meets the side of the pool.

A local mall announced that it would close by the end of January and begin demolition by March 2024. Having not been there for years, I went to check it out. Sure enough, the place was bereft of life. These were the only happy shoppers to be found.
