Teams of two and solo riders came together August 23rd and 24th to compete in the Bcyclet Inferno Race in France. The race includes 9 mountain passes spanning 470km with over 11, 500 meters of climbing.

We were eating at a restaurant in Nazaré, when I noticed the sunset. I politely excused myself and ran to the vehicle to get my camera. I hurried across the street, then the sand, to stop briefly to compose the photo, and myself. I saw the seagull and waited, then snap.
