I had to photograph some baby birds while I was visiting a state park. These goslings cooperated. I loved seeing that it's wings are just starting to develop.
What can I say? I had a long lens in my hands when these two posed for a second and then back to acting like nuts.

The "Last Roll Call" by post Commander Major K. Doug Miller, USAF (Ret.) listed 16 military veterans from the area who had died in the last year. Yet, as Doug said in several ceremonies this morning, "As long as two comrades remain, we will honor those who are gone."

I love the Elm trees in Central Park in New York and spent some time photographing them in the mall in early Spring. With the full just behind the lamp post, I underexposed a bit to try to create a magical look.
This Wood Duck reflected nicely in the late afternoon light shining on the surface of the water.
