My eldest daughter is on the cusp of not believing in Santa Claus. She seems torn between wanting to believe and the reality that it is her parents who are giving her presents. Meanwhile her younger sister is just grasping Christmas traditions and is happy as a clam believing in the jolly old elf.
This picture was originally a lighting test for a different image we had planned for our Christmas card. I just liked this one so much that I jettisoned the "family" picture I shot and sent out this outtake instead. Sometimes pictures are gifts.
