I always come back to portrait photography. I just find faces so fascinating. How the same features can align in different ways creating individuality. I find that it is so important to time for personal work.

A chance meeting in a State College Café, a camera, a backdrop, and a yes. What could have been a normal lazy Saturday turned into a side quest when Daniel walked into our local café. With some encouragement from my wife I asked Daniel if he would be willing to let me take his portrait, something I rarely do. Wanting to finish his breakfast he told me to meet up with him at a festival he and his band would be preforming at. A few hours later, with a smile and a handshake he was in front of my camera, posing like a natural, and I was introduced to some incredible music.
