Northeastern University announced the signing of  Mack Welby, 11, from Needham, MA., as the newest member of the men's ice hockey program at Matthews Arena on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025. Mack, who lives with Cerebral Palsy, comes to Northeastern through a partnership with Team IMPACT, whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children facing life-threatening and chronic illnesses through the power of team.
