During week of welcome, new students mingled in the student center courtyard, and I couldn't help but notice their festive footwear.

After new student convocation ended, the first-year students and their peer mentors turned up the music and let loose. In these dance circles, it's a show of support to lend a hand to the dancer, connecting the students as classmates, peers, friends, and making the new students feel part of the campus community.
