First-year nursing students begin their journey by receiving their white coat.

The university continues efforts to promote activities within the community by having students volunteer for community celebrations and events. Part of the celebrations of "Dickens on the Square" was having Santa Claus ride in to town on the Amtrack Zephyr to greet children and all members of the community.
