A vigil February 15 at the Cook Carillon Tower reflected on the lives lost in Syria and Turkey from a devastating earthquake and reaffirmed the community's support to all of those impacted by the disaster.

One of the time honored traditions here is the Bruin Brawl. It has been on a covid break, and it came back this year! The Brawl is an all out bench clearing wrestling match. Each class competes (all at the same time) to wrestle the little 25 pound brown leather pillow known as Bruin Jr. away from the other classes. Which ever class gets the Bruin Jr. away from the crowd first wins bragging rights until the next time.
