This photo of Michelle was used in a story highlighting individuals doing research people wouldn't normally think of as research. Michelle studies market trends for fashion where most of her research is done on a computer. Trying to tie in her textile and apparel management major without showing a computer screen was the goal for getting her portrait.

Students in a horticulture class harvest vegetables grown in the education garden on campus. The vegetables are then delivered to the food pantry on campus where students, faculty and staff experiencing food insecurity can pick up food.

Over the course of about a week, students wrote out their biology notes on the full length (24+ feet) of a shiny, dry-erase wall in the study room of a library. Library staff were so impressed with the work, they asked me to photograph it so that they could make it into a poster before they erase the wall and destroy the notes.
