Planetarium Opening

After many years of darkness, the university planetarium has opened its doors. With departmental funding and a financial award from the provost, professors from physics and earth science collaborated to restore equipment and purchase a new projector for the planetarium. The hope is to bring students across interdisciplinary lines to nourish curiosity and build awareness around the university’s work in astronomy and astrophysics.
