Special Collections has been hosting Community Archives Workshops to train community organizations on how to document and preserve their own history. This families ancestors were migrant Mexican farm workers in Moapa Valley, NV. There's a lot of documentation on the history of Mormon settlers, but not about the migrant workers. So this family took what they learned, documented their history, and now are donating it to Special Collections.
