Scott Whisler is a staff member in our Facilities Planning department. He is an ordinary guy who does extraordinary things. He is a marathoner, an ultra-marathoner, and frequently participates in triathlons. He also helps lead a running club for disadvantaged inner city kids. One of his mantras is "How bad do you want it?" If you want it bad enough, and put in the work to get there, you can do just about anything. Here, Scott is pictured running through the ravines on our campus at night. While training for ultra-marathons, Scott would do overnight training runs to ready his body for the over 24 hour time period that he would be continuously running during the actual event!
