This one of my favorite images from a week long quest to photograph snowflakes in my garage for a magazine spread about winter. The photos that I produced were to go along with poems written by students about snow and winter. Images were achieved using a make-shift macro lens (70-200mm combined with a 50mm), camera on a tripod, a gelled flash, a piece of glass and some stools to hold up the glass.
