The Crime and Justice Policy Research Program entered into an partnership with the Marion Police Department in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies in Linn County to provide analytical support for a newly developed focused deterrence program. The program integrates social network analysis and geographic mapping tools to target high-risk serious offenders for arrest and prosecution. The program also provides social services and job training opportunities for those selected for high-risk intervention.
After recently discovering that we had a Bass Fishing Club Team, we just knew we had to take them out and do something fun. This challenging shoot was done on a bayou utilizing three different boats: 1 for the fishermen, 1 for lighting, and 1 for the cameras.
