This is a collection of letters donated to Towson University by alumna Jackie Cohen. The letters are her written by her father, Infantryman Leon Bloomberg, and sent to her Mother, Esther, while he was stationed In Europe during World War Two. The hundreds of letters that make up the donated correspondence, written daily, provide a unique insight into his daily military life, his romance, experiences as a jewish serviceman, and more.
