I created portraits to illustrate our Three Minute Thesis contestants for the 3MT contest this year. This is Mahasweta Bhattacharya a graduate student in the department of Biomedical Engineering. Her research focuses on brain activity and could contribute to development of brain-machine interfaces that will hopefully help with the rehabilitation process of neurodegenerative diseases. Her thesis title is Decrypting Your Brain: Quest for Smarter Machines.
